How to Evaluate a Nonprofit Technology Stack Without Buying More Software Than You Need

The team wants better event management, cleaner donation flows, stronger email capability, or improved reporting. A vendor demonstrates a promising solution. Another tool is added to fill a related gap. A third handles something adjacent. Before long, the organization owns a stack that can do almost everything in theory and makes daily work harder in practice.
That is why technology evaluation should begin with operating fit, not feature accumulation.
Start with the jobs the organization actually needs done
Before comparing vendors, write down the workflows that matter most.
Examples might include:

· run paid and free event registration with guests and check-in
